Dear Anglers, Sponsors and Sport Fishing fans the world over,
The Boca Grande Area Chamber of Commerce will host this popular, traditional tournament on May 19th & 20th 2016. This storied and immensely popular sporting event is sponsored by the Boca Grande Area Chamber of Commerce, while working with expert recommendations from the Boca Grande Fishing Guides Association to create an event that will thrill even the most experienced angler.
The dates and times of competition have been chosen by guides whose livelihood has rested on the knowledge of fishing Boca Grande Pass, has been perfected over a century and passed down through generations assuring a successful and exciting tournament. Recently added conservation methods and practices will help preserve the local fishery and insure that future generations will be able to enjoy the natural beauty and abundance locals have enjoyed dating back thousands of years when this area was inhabited by the native Calusa.
Your sponsorship investment and participation in this highly anticipated event is not only appreciated but vital to its success and will help the Boca Grande Area Chamber of Commerce continue to deliver quality events, enable us to maintain our level of commitment to our annual scholarship awards for local students and promote local businesses that will ultimately give a boost to an otherwise slow economic recovery.
In the past, the “World’s Richest” Tarpon Tournament drew anglers and Captains from all over the world who competed for prize money that in some years totaled up to a quarter of a million dollars. This high profile event will be promoted heavily in a variety of mediums with our featured Sponsors presented prominently in press releases, programs and on merchandise giving those businesses an opportunity for maximum advertising exposure while helping support a local tradition that has taken the lead in combining sport fishing and conservation.
Space is limited so contact our Chamber office to submit your entry form or arrange your corporate sponsorship early.
Thank you for your continued support and commitment to preserving “Old Florida” the way it was meant to be.
